Linen and laundry · Planned

Linen folded, towels stocked, before the first shift starts.

At night your ovibot folds towels and napkins at a fixed table, sorts used linen for the laundry and stocks the linen room. After the spa and gym close, it empties the towel bins and restocks towels, robes and slippers, so everything is full when the first shift arrives.

The hours it works

When it works.

From 22:00 to 06:00, after the spa and gym close. The linen room is quiet at night, night hours carry a supplement on the staff schedule, and towels are stocked before the first guest arrives.

How it runs itself

It runs itself. We step in when it gets stuck.

Your ovibot does these tasks on its own. In the app you see the shift report and any alerts. When something blocks it, a remote operator takes over: 12 hours a month are included, then €1,00 a minute.

Folding works best at a fixed table with two arms, so a wheeled humanoid suits it better than one on two legs. The Unitree H2 EDU is the choice if it also carries heavy linen bags.

What we do not promise yet

What we do not promise yet.

No humanoid folds linen in a European hotel yet. Robots that fold flat linen at a fixed table are slower than a person today, which is why this job runs at night.

Duvet covers, fitted sheets and anything stained stay with your staff. Our first hotels are learning sites, and we will tell you what goes wrong.

Safety and your data

Safety and your data.

No cameras in guest rooms, ever. Cameras point at the work, not at people. Faces are blurred at the edge and never stored. No face recognition, ever.

A GDPR impact assessment comes with every install, and staff are told before the first camera goes live.

On a fire alarm it parks out of the escape routes and stays out of the lifts. It never props open a fire door.

We sign the safety paperwork for as long as the contract runs. Your data →

Questions

Linen and laundry: questions.

Can a robot really fold towels?

Flat linen, yes: towels, napkins and pillowcases at a fixed table. It is slower than a person, so it works through the night. Duvet covers and fitted sheets stay with your staff.

Does it work with our laundry company?

It sorts and bags used linen for collection and stocks what comes back. It does not run industrial washers or dryers.

What if it folds something badly?

The morning report shows what it did. When it is unsure, a remote operator takes over, and anything below your standard is set aside for staff.

Does it work in the spa?

Only after the spa closes. It empties the towel bins and restocks towels, robes, slippers and toiletries. It does not give massages or treatments.

Check if it pays offin your hotel.

We come and watch a night and a breakfast, then tell you which job would pay for itself first. If none would, we say so.

How the free hotel check works

No sales deck. No hard sell.

  1. Tell us about your hotel and the job you have in mind.
  2. We visit and watch a real shift, and check your lifts and service routes.
  3. You get a straight answer, and a price if a job would pay for itself.
